The 1956 movie The Treasure of Gen. Yamashita featured two Oriental beauties, Lola Young of Hong Kong and Mitsuko Mito of Japan. The two actresses shared stellar billing with Leopoldo Salcedo, Pancho Magalona and Danilo Montes.
Lola also starred in Sanda Wong with Jose Padilla, Lilia Dizon and Danilo Montes.
Yamashita and Sanda Wong were a joint venture between the Philippines’ Manuel Vistan Jr. and his Chinese counterpart Ho Chapman.
