Herbert Colangco Reveals Sen. De Lima Received P3 Million Per Month as Payola

Convicted drug lord Herbert Colangco revealed on his signed affidavit that the former Justice Secretary and current senator of the Republic, Sen. Leila De Lima received at least P3 million per month as payola from his group, the Carcel Side, a coalition of gangs of inmates from the Visayas and Mindanao.

Carcel side is one of the two factions of inmates inside the national penitentiary with over 7,000 members most of them belongs to Oxo Allied Group. The other faction inside the Bilibid is the Presidio side headed by fellow VIP inmate and drug convict Jaybee Sebastian with over 5,000 members. Most members of the Presidio side came from Luzon.

According to Herbert Colangco on his affidavit leaked by The Star online, in the four-page affidavit signed by Colangco he explained that the P3-million amount was for "payola" to then DOJ Secretary Leila de Lima, "para sa pribilehiyo sa amin at para maipagpatuloy din ang mga negosyo sa Bilibid."

Colangco added further that "Sa tantiya ko po, ang umiikot na halaga ng droga sa loob ng Bilibid sa pagpayag ni secretary De Lima bago pa kami ilipat sa NBI (National Bureau of Investigation) ay hindi bababa sa limampung milyong piso (P50-million) kada buwan" bared by the only Bilibid recording artist.

The robbery and drug convict, Herbert Colangco confessed also that he ventured into selling beer inside the Muntinlupa Prison during De Lima's time. He noted that he was allowed to sell beer in can to thousands of inmates during events at NBP for more than 10 times the original price per can and he would earn P3 million for 300 boxes.

“Ang share ni secretary De Lima sa pag-aapruba sa pagpasok nito ay P1 million. Ito po ay dinadala ng tao kong si Rey sa DOJ o kinukuha ng tao ni secretary De Lima na si Joenel Sanchez (kasama sa security ni De Lima) at ng kanyang boyfriend na si Ronnie Dayan.

The head of the notorios Ozamiz robbery gang, Herbert Colangco also recalled that when he and other high-profile inmates were transferred to the NBI in 2014, Jaybee Sebastian then had a monopoly of illegal drug trade and other illicit activities inside the NBP.

“Ang hindi susunod sa kanyang gusto ay tinatakot na ipapatapon. Naniniwala ang mga tao sa loob ng Bilibid na pwedeng gawin ito sa kanila ni Jaybee Sebastian dahil alam nila ito ay malapit kay secretary De Lima lalo na sa boyfriend nito na si Ronnie Dayan," Colangco stated.

(Those who will defy him were warned to be thrown away. People in the NBP believe that he is capable of doing that because he is known to be close with secretary De Lima, especially with her boyfriend Ronnie Dayan),” he added in the sworn statement signed last Sept. 1.

R. Tiglao Exposed LTO Records Showing Aquino Never Bought or Sold a Porsche

Veteran columnist Rigoberto Tiglao exposed the Land Transportation Office (LTO) records of former President Benigno Aquino III showing that he never bought or sold an expensive Porsche car. The LTO records proved that the former President did not sold his Porsche 911 Carrera car which he claimed he bought for P5 million. The controversial Porsche car of the former President made headlines just months into his presidency but he explained that he bought the luxury car with the proceeds he got when he sold his BMW. Because of the furor from such display of opulence, Pres. Aquino claimed to have sold it six months later for exactly the same price. According to Tiglao during that time he asked through his column the LTO to release the car's deed of sale and registration to prove that it was not a gift from a Chinese-Filipino tycoon as rumored by some individuals critical to the President. The only possible way to discover whether the Porsche luxury was indeed sold was through
