The most controversial senator of the Republic, Sen. Leila De Lima confirmed that the cellular phone number allegedly belonging to her as accused by Bilibid inmate Herbert Colangco.
During the House Committee hearing conducted by the House of Representatives, National Bilibid Prison (NBP) inmate Herbert Colangco revealed that he talked with the former DOJ Secretary Leila De Lima using the number presented by Colangco.
Due to the popularity of the alleged number of Senator Leila de Lima, the senator confirmed to the media that the number was indeed belonged to her.
Sen. Leila De Lima even slammed the members of the congress for publicly disclosing her mobile phone number and home address during the Legislative Hearing on the proliferation of illegal drugs inside the National Bilibid Prison on Tuesday.
The neophyte senator who was recently kicked out as Chairperson of the Senate Committee on Justice and Human Rights and replaced by Sen. Dick Gordon.
Sen. De Lima faces accusations of receiving millions of money from drug lords inside the national penitentiary as protection money during her term as the Secretary of Justice under the Aquino administration.

In an official statement released to the media, Sen. De Lima confirmed that she has received almost 2,000 text messages and phone calls from random people, threatening and harassing her.
"They have basically destroyed my right to privacy and security in my communications and in my abode. I am now literally a persecuted person displaced from my home. Worse, they have turned people into weapons of destruction," De Lima said in her statement.
