NAIA Ranked as 5th Worst Airport in Asia But Cited Some Improvements

The Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) has been ranked by the travel website "The Guide to Sleeping in Airports" as the fifth worst airport in Asia but cited some improvements in the airport under the Duterte administration. The ranking is considered as an improvement compared to the Aquino administration wherein the airport was dubbed as the Worst Airport not only in Asia but in the World.

According to "The Guide" some of the complaints against NAIA include the "tanim bala" scam which was already solved by the Duterte admin, power outages, bad air conditioning systme, lack of seat and complicated terminal transfers. These complaints were already answered by the Duterte admin and made some measures to solve the problem unlike the previous administration who allegedly did nothing during the past six years.

Despite the shortcomings of NAIA, the website acknowledges some improvements in the Philippines' main gateway, survey responders took notice of "cleaner bathrooms, more chairs and some general organization of taxis in front of the terminal would help make life here a lot more manageable."

The improvements at the formerly known as the "Worst Airport in the World" was made only during the first 100 days of the Duterte administration which is very impressive compared the past six years under the Aquino administration. NAIA was ranked as the Worst Airpot in the World during the year 2011 and 2013, and was also named Worst in Asia during the year 2012.

Topping the list of this year's Worst Airport in Asia is Uzbekistan's Tashkent International Airport, followed by Nepal's Tribhuvan International Airport, Pakistan's Bacha Khan International Airport, and Afghanistan's Hamid Karzai International Airport.

R. Tiglao Exposed LTO Records Showing Aquino Never Bought or Sold a Porsche

Veteran columnist Rigoberto Tiglao exposed the Land Transportation Office (LTO) records of former President Benigno Aquino III showing that he never bought or sold an expensive Porsche car. The LTO records proved that the former President did not sold his Porsche 911 Carrera car which he claimed he bought for P5 million. The controversial Porsche car of the former President made headlines just months into his presidency but he explained that he bought the luxury car with the proceeds he got when he sold his BMW. Because of the furor from such display of opulence, Pres. Aquino claimed to have sold it six months later for exactly the same price. According to Tiglao during that time he asked through his column the LTO to release the car's deed of sale and registration to prove that it was not a gift from a Chinese-Filipino tycoon as rumored by some individuals critical to the President. The only possible way to discover whether the Porsche luxury was indeed sold was through ...
