Netizens Criticize VP Robredo for Prioritizing Cory Aquino's Birth Anniversary than SAF44 Anniv

Netizens from all walks of life shared their frustrations on social media after they learned that Vice President Leni Robredo who allegedly prioritize her visit former President Cory Aquino's death anniversary compared to the death anniversary of the SAF 44 victims.

Vice Pres. Leni Robredo attended the birth anniversary celebration of the Aquino Family in remembrance of the late President Cory Aquino at the Manila Memorial Park on Wednesday, January 25, 2016.

The birth anniversary celebration of Pres. PNoy's mother coincides with the death anniversary of SAF 44 elite squad who lost their lives during the Mamasapano encounter.

A concerned netizen named Rafael Paeng Navas stated on Facebook that VP Leni Robredo is only paying her debt of gratitude to the Aquino family for making him the Vice President of the Philippines.

Another netizen MaryAnn Mhe-Ann Lonzaga also said that it's obvious that the Vice President didn't care about the SAF44 because she already opposed the reopening of Mamasapano massacre investigation.

Vice President Leni Robredo's photos taken during the event at the Manila Memorial Park spreads like wildfire on social media as netizens reacted with dissappointment to the gesture made by the President of allegedly showing disrespect to the families of the SAF44 victims.

According to Eddie Tusi it's more important for VP Leni Robredo to celebrate the birth anniversary of Aquino because the SAF44 is only nobody to them.

During the time when Vice Pres. Leni Robredo was still working as a lawmaker at the Lower House of Congress, she is one of the few politicians who opposed the reopening of the Mamasapano Masscre investigation where former Pres. Aquino was blamed by many people because of his command responsibility and the many mistakes they allegedly made during the operation dubbed as "Oplan Exodus."

Unlike VP Leni Robredo, President Rody Duterte visited and made a speech in front of the relatives and families of the SAF44 victims as he promised to reopen the investigation and wants all people involved in the operation to be punished including the alleged involvement of Pres. Aquino, whom the former Davao City Mayor had so many questions.

You can pay at a restaurant by smiling at a camera

© Provided by Engadget As easy as it is to make purchases in the era of tap-to-pay services , it's about to get easier still. Alipay (which handles purchases for Chinese shopping giant Alibaba) has launched what it says is the first payment system that uses facial recognition to complete the sale. If you visit one of KFC's KPRO restaurants in Hangzhou, China, you can pay for your panini or salad by smiling at a camera-equipped kiosk -- you need to verify the purchase on your phone, but you don't have to punch in digits or bring your phone up to an NFC reader. The system (Smile to Pay) is purportedly resistant to spoofing with photos and other tricks. It relies on both depth-sensing cameras and a "likeness detection algorithm" to make sure it's really you. Reportedly, the technology is good enough that it can accurately identify people even when they're disguising themselves through makeup or wigs. You shouldn't have to worry about someone buying ...

"We oppose the tiered approach. Meaning 'yung first seven grams will be tax free and then after that would be taxable," Finance Undersecretary Karl Chua said during the Economic Journalists Association of the Philippines (EJAP) Economic Forum in Manila on Friday. Chua note the tiered approach may compel manufacturers to come up with smaller packaging. "So you can drink three of them with no taxes," the Finance official said. It will defeat the purpose of imposing excise tax on sugary drinks as a health measure, he added.
