Sen. Enrile Vows Justice for SAF44 by Putting Former Pres. Aquino Behind Bars

Veteran lawyer and former Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile vows justice for SAF44 victims as he believes that he can put former President Benigno S Aquino III behind bars for reason arising from the untimely death of the elite 44 members of the PNP-Special Action Forces at Mamasapano, Maguindanao, if given a chance to be the lawyer of the government.

According to Sen. Enrile, a crime of treason could be slapped against former Pres. Aquino by the national government's prosecution agency for aiding and comforting the secessionist Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) which he sad is an enemy of the Republic of the Philippines.

The former Senate President stated in an interview with Manila Bulletin that he don't think Aquino will be able to answer his questions if he taks the witness stand.

Sen. Enrile added further that "Ang may kasalanan dyan walang iba kundi presidente ng Pilipinas. Does he know his powers as Head of State? He has all the powers. He was in Zamboanga. He knew what was happening. He was still aboard the plane and they were already talking with (Interior Secretary Manuel “Mar”) Roxas and Defense Secretary (Voltaire) Gazmin. Enrile said.

The former senator also noted that Pres. Aquino were texting suspended PNP Chief Alan Purisima. They went to a headquarters and was briefed that there was a killing (of PNP-SAF members) in Mamasapano. He was with his defense secretary, the chief of staff, and Roxas,” he said. (Nobody is to blame but the President of the Philippines.)

“Why did he not issue an order to help those beleaguered people? There was not much casualties then. There were many casualties before the President did act. Why did he interfere in the project? It is the work of the police. He is responsible after he used Purisima as his point man, knowing he was suspended,’’ he added.

According to Enrile, a former Defense minister of the late Pres. Marcos for 17 years, said that it is clear that a stand down order was issued during the firefight. Only Pres. Aquino who can stop the AFP and SAF elements near Mamasapano from moving the beleaguered SAF combatants and that is the Commander in Chief.

Former Pres. Aquino denied having a direct hand in the planning and execution of "Oplan Exodus" tat led to the slaughter of SAF44 combatants. Instead of claiming command responsibility, Aquino blamed SAF Chief Napeñas for the incident because he allegedly disobeyed instructions.

You can pay at a restaurant by smiling at a camera

© Provided by Engadget As easy as it is to make purchases in the era of tap-to-pay services , it's about to get easier still. Alipay (which handles purchases for Chinese shopping giant Alibaba) has launched what it says is the first payment system that uses facial recognition to complete the sale. If you visit one of KFC's KPRO restaurants in Hangzhou, China, you can pay for your panini or salad by smiling at a camera-equipped kiosk -- you need to verify the purchase on your phone, but you don't have to punch in digits or bring your phone up to an NFC reader. The system (Smile to Pay) is purportedly resistant to spoofing with photos and other tricks. It relies on both depth-sensing cameras and a "likeness detection algorithm" to make sure it's really you. Reportedly, the technology is good enough that it can accurately identify people even when they're disguising themselves through makeup or wigs. You shouldn't have to worry about someone buying ...

Tesla cloud account hacked to mine cryptocurrency

© Provided by The Hill An unidentified outside hacker infiltrated Tesla's Amazon cloud account and used its systems to quietly mine for cryptocurrencies, a cybersecurity firm announced Tuesday. The hack also potentially exposed the electric car company's data. Researchers for RedLock found that Tesla's credentials on an IT administrative console were not password protected. They made the discovery while trying to track down which organizations had left their Amazon Web Services (AWS) credentials openly exposed on the internet last month. The hackers quietly hijacked the console and began running scripts to generate virtual currency like bitcoin, the latest in a series of "cryptojacking" attacks. The researchers also found the hackers used "sophisticated evasion measures" to go undetected. A spokesperson for Tesla said the company learned about the breach in a company-sanctioned bug bounty program that pays outside hackers to discover vulnerabilitie...
