Netizens Reacts on Sen. Hontiveros Statement Slamming Plans to Make Janet Napoles as a State Witness

Neophyte lawmaker Sen. Risa Hontiveros released a statement on national media slamming the plans of the administration to make the alleged Pork Barrel Queen, Janet Lim Napoles as state witness. Due to the statement made by Sen. Hontiveros, netizens took to social media and gave their reactions which are mostly negative.

According to Sen. Hontiveros, the Duterte administration should not use criminals like Napoles to destroy the opposition or those who are against him politically.

The Duterte administration was slammed by Sen. Hontiveros on Tuesday after news report of the possibility of plunder suspect Janet Lim-Napoles becoming a state witness in the multi-billion-peso pork barrel scam.

Sen. Hontiveros was quoted as saying "Turning pork barrel scam mastermind Janet Lim-Napoles into a state witness is a travesty of justice. It is glorifying a villain as a hero," Hontiveros said in a statement.

The Liberal Party senator also emphasized that "Napoles is not a hero." Netizens were quick to react with the recent pronouncements of Sen. Hontiveros as they lambasted the senator for her statement denouncing the plans of the Duterte administration.

The LTO records proved that the former President did not sold his Porsche 911 Carrera car which he claimed he bought for P5 million. The controversial Porsche car of the former President made headlines just months into his presidency but he explained that he bought the luxury car with the proceeds he got when he sold his BMW. According to Tiglao during that time he asked through his column the LTO to release the car's deed of sale and registration to prove that it was not a gift from a Chinese-Filipino tycoon as rumored by some individuals critical to the President. The only possible way to discover whether the Porsche luxury was indeed sold was through ...
