Onyok, puwede pang bumalik sa ‘Probinsyano’

NAGSALITA na si Coco Martin tungkol sa usap-usapang pagkakatanggal sa batang si Simon Ezekiel Pineda, mas kilala bilang si Onyok, sa top-rating series ng ABS-CBN na FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.

Ayon sa panayam sa aktor sa storycon ng Ang Panday, na ginanap sa Fernwoods kamakailan, nais niyang maipagpatuloy ng bagets ang pag-aaral.

“Gusto kasi talagang mag-aral nu’ng bata,” sabi ng aktor nang makapanayam ng reporters sa storycon ng pagbibidahan niyang Ang Panday na official entry sa 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival. “Kami naman po naiintindihan namin ‘yung ano… saka siyempre po, kami pina-priority namin ‘yung bata, na maalagaan sila. Like kunyari po sina Paquito, kahit nagtatrabaho sila, nakakapag-aral pa rin sila.”

Pinabulaanan ni Coco na nagkaroon ng attitude problem sa nanay ni Onyok kaya tsinugi ang anak sa serye.

“Hindi, hindi po. Kasi talagang nu’ng sinabi po nilang… kasi nga nakaipon na, nakabili na siya ng bahay at sasakyan ‘tapos gusto talaga niyang mag-aral. Sabi namin, kung ano ‘yung gusto nila ‘yun ‘yung pagbibigyan namin.

“Pinakaimportante ‘yon, eh. Mawawala tayo sa showbiz pero ‘yung matututunan ng bata hindi. Kaya honestly, nu’ng sina Paquito, sina Ligaya na mga taga-Cebu, sinabi namin na kailangan nag-aaral sila.

“Hindi puwedeng puro trabaho lang. Kailangan kahit nando’n sila sa taping, kahit four hours lang sila, dapat nag-aaral sila,” paliwanag pa ni Coco.

Pero any time naman daw na gustong bumalik ni Onyok sa FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano ay welcome ito.

“Kaya nga kung mapapansin n’yo naka-open naman siya, eh. Naka-open ‘yung kuwento na ‘yun.”

Ang good news para sa mga nakaka-miss na agad kay Onyok, kasama ito sa Ang Panday.

“Andito po siya sa Panday. Siya ‘yung hari ng mga duwende,” kumpirma ng aktor.

Prodyus ng sariling bagong movie outfit na CCM Films, makakasama ni Coco sa Ang Panday ang lahat ng child stars at adult players na napanood o napapanood pa rin hanggang ngayon sa Ang Probinsyano, sa direksiyon ni Rodel Nacianceno (tunay na pangalan ni Coco).

DOF opposes tiered approach to tax on sugary drinks

"We oppose the tiered approach. Meaning 'yung first seven grams will be tax free and then after that would be taxable," Finance Undersecretary Karl Chua said during the Economic Journalists Association of the Philippines (EJAP) Economic Forum in Manila on Friday.
