A report on "Balitanghali" by Bam Alegre quoted rescuers as saying that they needed several power tools to carefully remove the body from the vehicle.
Tyron Cruz, a witness of the incident, said the falling car also hit a child, who was later rushed to the hospital.
"Paglingon ko bumabagsak na yung kotse, nandiyan na siya sa edge niyan, yung impact tuloy-tuloy, tapos may tinamaang bata sa paa. Sinugod na po sa ospital...," the witness said.
Security personnel barred the media from taking photos of the victim inside an ambulance.
An ER doctor pronounced that woman dead at the Jose Reyes Memorial Hospital.
Relatives of the victims, as well as well as personnel from the human resources department of the call center company the woman was working, arrived at the hospital hours later.
Meanwhile, building officials have not given any statement yet on incident.
The Manila Police District homicide division is now investigating the incident, along with the Bureau of Fire Protection personnel who came first at the scene. —LBG, GMA News
