See The Offensive Cheeseburger Emoji That Google Must Fix

When you grill and stack your burger, do you usually think about the order of your chosen ingredients? Well, according to the internet, whether the cheese rests atop the patty—rather than lying on the bottom bun—is a serious topic of debate.

It all started when author Thomas Baekdal took a hard look at the burger emoji on both Apple and Google and decided that their designs should be up for debate. “I think we need to have a discussion about how Google’s burger emoji is placing the cheese underneath the burger, which Apple puts on top,” he voiced his concerns on Twitter.

Much to social media users’ surprise, Google CEO Sundar Pichai responded, “Will drop everything else we are doing and address on Monday:) if folks can agree on the correct way to do this!”

And the Twitter verse did just that. Baekdal’s viral tweet amassed almost 2,000 comments, many of which expressed how the cheese slice should be placed on top of the patty, condemning Google for getting it wrong.

While others referenced McDonald’s Big Mac as an example.

Twitter users were quick to mention that Google’s virtual representation of the BBQ staple was the only one that featured the cheese under the patty. Users even continued onto analyzing other tech giants’ burger emojis, criticizing Facebook Messenger for being skimpy with the sesame seeds and questioning Apple and Samsung’s on-bottom-bun lettuce placement.

Self-proclaimed burger royalty, Burger King, seemed to capitalize on the hot topic, offering their sandwich as a prime example (and perhaps practicing political correctness by placing the patty under the cheese).

The web hasn’t yet received word if Pichai actually summoned his tech team to renovate the emoji. But whether this tweet has sparked a heated convo or just serious cravings, we’ve got you covered on the latter with our exclusive report, 40 Popular Burgers—Ranked!

R. Tiglao Exposed LTO Records Showing Aquino Never Bought or Sold a Porsche

Veteran columnist Rigoberto Tiglao exposed the Land Transportation Office (LTO) records of former President Benigno Aquino III showing that he never bought or sold an expensive Porsche car. The LTO records proved that the former President did not sold his Porsche 911 Carrera car which he claimed he bought for P5 million. The controversial Porsche car of the former President made headlines just months into his presidency but he explained that he bought the luxury car with the proceeds he got when he sold his BMW. Because of the furor from such display of opulence, Pres. Aquino claimed to have sold it six months later for exactly the same price. According to Tiglao during that time he asked through his column the LTO to release the car's deed of sale and registration to prove that it was not a gift from a Chinese-Filipino tycoon as rumored by some individuals critical to the President. The only possible way to discover whether the Porsche luxury was indeed sold was through
