Jodi Sta. Maria Confirms Split from Jolo Revilla

Veteran Kapamilya actress Jodi Sta. Maria confirmed during a televised interview that she is no longer in a relationship with long-time partner Jolo Revilla, the Vice Governor of Cavite Province. The statement of Jodi Sta. Maria ended speculations and rumors that they were having problems with their romantic relationships. The 34-year-old Jodi Sta. Maria confirmed the news of her breakup with Jolo Revilla at the sidelines of a press conference for her upcoming movie "The Achy Breaky Hearts." The movie features Jodi Sta. Maria torn between two lovers who were portrayed by Ian Veneracion and Richard Yap. Jodi Sta. Maria did not elaborate further the main reasons of the split with the son of Sen. Pres. Duterte Offers DENR Post to Gina Lopez

The incoming President of the Republic of the Philippines, President-elect Rodrigo Duterte invited the veteran environmentalists and ABS-CBN's head of charitable institution, Ma'am Gina Lopez to  join the Duterte administration as head of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR). The invitation given to Gina Lopez was announced by Mayor Duterte himself in a one-minute video message sent to the media on Monday. The 71-year-old outgoing Mayor of Davao City was quoted as saying "I offered the position of DENR (Department of Environment and Natural Resources) secretary to Ms. Gina Lopez,” the incoming president said. First PPP Project Under Pres. Duterte is a P170 Billion Open-Tunnel System

The first Public-Private Partnership (PPP) project under the administration of President Rody Dutere is the P170 Billion Open-Tunnel System proposed by Philtrak Inc., which is envisioned to help farmers and fisher-folks in the provinces to get rid of middle-men. The Integrated Trackways System will run parallel to the present railway tracks running from La Union to the Bicol Region while more roads will be built in Visayas and Mindanao. The "Open Tunnel" Project was already presented to incoming DOTC Secretary Arthur Tugade during the infrastructure forum held at the University of Asia and the Pacific.
