Comedian Joy Viado Dies at 57 Due to Heart Attack

Veteran comedian Joy Viado has passed away according to the confirmation released to the media by  some of her closed family members. The sourc close to the comedian that Joy Viado passed away on Saturday evening. She was 57 years old.


Annete Lucido, Viado's best friend stated that the comedian suffered a heart attack and was pronounced dead at around 8:55 PM.

According to Joseph Christopher, Viado's son, in an interview with DZMM, he said that his mother had difficulty breathing after arriving home from a friend's place on Saturday.

Joseph Christopher was quoted as saying "Galing siya sa bahay ng kaibigan niya, at paguwi niya ay medyo nahihirapan na siyang huminga," Joseph shared. "Tapos nung tinakbo namin siya sa hospital, sa kotse pa lang eh talagang nahihirapan na siya. Sa hospital, sinubukan i-revive pero [dead on arrival]." 

The family of Joy Viado informed the media and their relatives that the wake will be held at the Arlinton Memorial Chapels Sunday afternoon.

The popular comedienne was one of the few actress who has been featured in numerous TV series and films. Last 2015 she made headlines when she broke down as she appealed for help to save her foot from amputation due to diabetes complications.

Tesla cloud account hacked to mine cryptocurrency

The hack also potentially exposed the electric car company's data. Researchers for RedLock found that Tesla's credentials on an IT administrative console were not password protected. They made the discovery while trying to track down which organizations had left their Amazon Web Services (AWS) credentials openly exposed on the internet last month.
