Reasons Why Kris Aquino Leaves ABS-CBN

Kapamilya star Kris Aquino decided to leave ABS-CBN for some reasons, just a few hours after the actress and TV host confirmed that she is leaving ABS-CBN, the network released an official statement on the reasons why Kris Aquino decided to quit the network.



According to Kane Errol Chua, head of ABS-CBN Corporate Communications stated that they respect Aquino's decision to leave the network.

"We thank Kris for the many years that she has been a Kapamilya bringing joy, hope and inspiration to our viewers worldwide. She will always be a Kapamilya and we wish her well in her new journey," the statement read.

The 45-year-old Kris Aquino took to social media early Monday to announce that she has decided to leave ABS-CBN and has signed with APT Entertainment, Inc., which is closely associated with rival GMA-7.

Kris Aquino also revealed that it was her manager Boy Abunda who reached out to APT's Tony Tuviera. The veteran actress and TV host who worked with various Kapamilya shows also expressed gratitude to ABS-CBN and her new "Family."

The actress and TV host who is now an official APT Entertainment, Inc., artist formerly worked with ABS-CBN as host of The Buzz and Showbiz News Network (SNN) wherein she was dubbed as "Queen of All Media."

Kris Aquino was also dubbed as Queen of Game Shows after she hosted The Price is Right, Pilipinas Game Ka Na Ba, Kapamilya Deal or No Deal and Wheel of Fortune.
