DSWD Explains Why the Philippines Did Not Call for Foreign Assistance or Donations

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) explained the main reasons why the national government did not asked for foreign assistance or donations from the international community after numerous news article circulated by some news outlet that the reason why nobody helped us was due to Pres. Duterte's statements against the US.

According to DSWD Secretary Judy Taguiwalo, her department did not asked for assistance or foreign donations for Bagyong Lawin and Bagyong Lawin was due to the fact that the Duterte administration had enough funds including the DSWD.

This is the results of President Duterte's transparent government and the absence of corruption. Sec. Taguiwalo was quoted as saying "Dahil walang katiwalian at transparent ang ating ipinatutupad na proseso, kitang-kita na may pondong sapat na magagamit para sa kagyat na pangangailangan," the DSWD Secretary stated.

The DSWD and various Local Government Units (LGUs) in the affected areas as well as the private sectors and the Filipino public worked hand-in-hand as one unit under the leadership of Pres. Duterte. The cooperation by various groups leads to the easy access of relief goods and other assistance for distribution to affected families.

Here's the Complete Statements of DSWD Sec. Judy Taguiwalo:

#KayaNgPilipinas"

Tesla cloud account hacked to mine cryptocurrency

© Provided by The Hill An unidentified outside hacker infiltrated Tesla's Amazon cloud account and used its systems to quietly mine for cryptocurrencies, a cybersecurity firm announced Tuesday. The hack also potentially exposed the electric car company's data. Researchers for RedLock found that Tesla's credentials on an IT administrative console were not password protected. They made the discovery while trying to track down which organizations had left their Amazon Web Services (AWS) credentials openly exposed on the internet last month. The hackers quietly hijacked the console and began running scripts to generate virtual currency like bitcoin, the latest in a series of "cryptojacking" attacks. The researchers also found the hackers used "sophisticated evasion measures" to go undetected. A spokesperson for Tesla said the company learned about the breach in a company-sanctioned bug bounty program that pays outside hackers to discover vulnerabilitie...
