Netizen Defends Gen. Bato Dela Rosa Amidst Resignation Call

A concerned netizen and considered as one of Pres. Rody Duterte's vocal supporter, Krizette Laureta Chu defended Gen. Ronald "Bato" Dela Rosa after some politicians and other groups called for his resignation as PNP Chief.

The resignation call for Gen. Bato Dela Rosa came after a South Korean businessman was allegedly killed inside the headquarters of the PNP at Camp Crame.

One of the most prominent personality who urged PNP Chief Dela Rosa to resign is no other than House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez and ally of the President who noted that the PNP Chief's resignation will save the Pres. Duterte from shame.

Krizette Laureta Chu defended the PNP Chief by saying that the problems faced by Gen. Bato was inherited from the previous administration. The concerned netizen also posted a viral photo of an incident who was dubbed "hulidap" during the Aquino admin under PNP Chief Purisima.

During the leadership of Gen. Purisima according to Chu, no one asked the PNP Chief to resign even if his men was found guilty of kidnapping an innocent person to extort money.

Here's the Complete Statement of Krizette Laureta Chu:

ITO ANG MGA KLASE NG PULIS NA PINAMANA KAY BATO.
Pause muna tayo...

and remember this photo, taken Sept. 1, 2014, when 8 policemen held up at gunpoint in broad daylight a car with passengers carrying P2 million.

In broad daylight! Just a few meters from Camp Crame.
Nanawagan ba tayong mag resign si Purisima?

You know, Purisima who was dismissed as PNP chief for graft? (But not this, the evil of his men?)

Or nanawagan tayo ngayon kasi ngayon, may standards na tayo, salamat kay Duterte?

DO NOT RESIGN, BATO, BUT BE HARSHER. He is a good man with an overwhelming job.
Ikaw kaya pamanahan ng impierno, kung di ka umiyak.

#GOBATO

Tesla cloud account hacked to mine cryptocurrency

© Provided by The Hill An unidentified outside hacker infiltrated Tesla's Amazon cloud account and used its systems to quietly mine for cryptocurrencies, a cybersecurity firm announced Tuesday. The hack also potentially exposed the electric car company's data. Researchers for RedLock found that Tesla's credentials on an IT administrative console were not password protected. They made the discovery while trying to track down which organizations had left their Amazon Web Services (AWS) credentials openly exposed on the internet last month. The hackers quietly hijacked the console and began running scripts to generate virtual currency like bitcoin, the latest in a series of "cryptojacking" attacks. The researchers also found the hackers used "sophisticated evasion measures" to go undetected. A spokesperson for Tesla said the company learned about the breach in a company-sanctioned bug bounty program that pays outside hackers to discover vulnerabilitie...

DOF opposes tiered approach to tax on sugary drinks

© Provided by Mediamerge Corporation MONEY- Tax thumbnail The Department of Finance (DOF) is not amenable to Senator Juan Edgardo Angara's suggestion to implement the proposed levy on sugar sweetened beverages via a three-tier system. "We oppose the tiered approach. Meaning 'yung first seven grams will be tax free and then after that would be taxable," Finance Undersecretary Karl Chua said during the Economic Journalists Association of the Philippines (EJAP) Economic Forum in Manila on Friday. Chua note the tiered approach may compel manufacturers to come up with smaller packaging. "So you can drink three of them with no taxes," the Finance official said. It will defeat the purpose of imposing excise tax on sugary drinks as a health measure, he added. During deliberations on the comprehensive tax reform bill, Angara floated the idea of implementing the excise tax on sugar sweetened beverages under a three-tier system to incentivize those who manufactu...
