Sass Rogando Sasot Slams Bishop Pabillo for Criticizing Pres. Duterte's War on Drugs

Popular social media personality and European-based political analyst Sass Rogando Sasot slams the Auxiliary Bishop of Manila, Reverend Broderick Pabillo for criticizing the successful war on drugs by Pres. Rody Duterte who already.

For the first six months of the Duterte administration's war on drugs, the national government successfully conducted more than 6 million Tokhang operations, 1 million surrendered to the PNP and more than 100,000 were captured through Pres. Duterte's war on drugs campaign.

In a viral statement released by Rev. Pabillo which spreads throughout various Anti-Duterte Pages, the Auxiliary Bishop criticized Pres. Duterte as he claimed that there's no positive results of the government's war on drugs but only killings.

The Duterte admin according to the Bishop also failed in terms of the rampant traffic problems and the Duterte admin allegedly did nothing with the contractualization issue.

Sass Rogando Sasot responded with the queries of Bishop Pabillo by giving numbers and updates of the ongoing solutions made by the Duterte admin. Pres. Duterte already inaugurated the mega drug rehab center in Nueva Ecija without spending a dime from the treasury.

The Duterte admin also allocated P1 billion pesos from PAGCOR funds for drug rehab. P1 Billion was also allocated by the Duterte admin for Free Medicine. Skills Training are also provided by TESDA for drug surrenderees and don't forget the SSS pension hike.

Here's the Complete Statement of Sass Rogando Sasot:

THOU SHALT NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS

Iyong skills training from TESDA for drug surrenderees? Kamusta naman ang SSS Pension Hike?

At sa issue ng contractualisation, Reverend Pabillo, ito po ang updates diyaan:

“We targeted 30,000 workers by the end of the year. So far, we managed to accomplish 32,000 and 17,000 more contractual workers are expected to become regular,” Silvestre Bello said.

Sa traffic? Ongoing pong kumukuha ng emergency powers para mabilis na masolusyunan.
Bago po ninyo sabihing wala talagang ginawa, Rev. Pabillo, hintayin niyo munang matapos ang six years. Iyan po ang term ng isang presidente.

You can pay at a restaurant by smiling at a camera

© Provided by Engadget As easy as it is to make purchases in the era of tap-to-pay services , it's about to get easier still. Alipay (which handles purchases for Chinese shopping giant Alibaba) has launched what it says is the first payment system that uses facial recognition to complete the sale. If you visit one of KFC's KPRO restaurants in Hangzhou, China, you can pay for your panini or salad by smiling at a camera-equipped kiosk -- you need to verify the purchase on your phone, but you don't have to punch in digits or bring your phone up to an NFC reader. The system (Smile to Pay) is purportedly resistant to spoofing with photos and other tricks. It relies on both depth-sensing cameras and a "likeness detection algorithm" to make sure it's really you. Reportedly, the technology is good enough that it can accurately identify people even when they're disguising themselves through makeup or wigs. You shouldn't have to worry about someone buying ...

DOF opposes tiered approach to tax on sugary drinks

© Provided by Mediamerge Corporation MONEY- Tax thumbnail The Department of Finance (DOF) is not amenable to Senator Juan Edgardo Angara's suggestion to implement the proposed levy on sugar sweetened beverages via a three-tier system. "We oppose the tiered approach. Meaning 'yung first seven grams will be tax free and then after that would be taxable," Finance Undersecretary Karl Chua said during the Economic Journalists Association of the Philippines (EJAP) Economic Forum in Manila on Friday. Chua note the tiered approach may compel manufacturers to come up with smaller packaging. "So you can drink three of them with no taxes," the Finance official said. It will defeat the purpose of imposing excise tax on sugary drinks as a health measure, he added. During deliberations on the comprehensive tax reform bill, Angara floated the idea of implementing the excise tax on sugar sweetened beverages under a three-tier system to incentivize those who manufactu...
