Netizen Chides Sen. Bam Aquino For Double-Dealing and Backstabbing the Duterte Admin

A concerned netizen who is identified as Mike Acebedo Lopez chides Sen. Bam Aquino on his latest statements to the media claiming that he is now a hero because he says he paid the hefty price of going to EDSA. The netizen accused Sen. Aquino for double dealing and backstabbing the Duterte admin.

In an earlier statement released to the media, Sen. Bam Aquino stated that he take no offense at his removal from the Senate Committee on Education as it's chairman, but for the record, he noted that the move has nothing to do with his performance as Committee chairman.

Due to the statement released by Sen. Aquino which was sensationalized by the mainstream media, concerned netizen Mike Acebedo Lopez reveals some of the inconsistencies in Aquino's statement.

According to Lopez, Sen. Aquino is allegedly busy being the evil brains behind VP Leni and co-presided over the plotting scheme with the Vice President. He questioned the integrity of Sen. Aquino who previously stayed with the majority whilst plotting to oust the President.

The netizen also revealed that as member of the Senate Majority, Sen. Aquino enjoyed the perks of being under it, and of being chairman of Education he can utilized allowances for research and presentation and of course additional staffs paid by ordinary taxpayers.

Here's the Complete Statement of Mike Acebedo Lopez:

If he wasn't so busy being the evil brains behind Leni and co-presiding over all the plotting and scheming with the VP, I might like this post. Alas, you can't have your cake and eat it, too.
How can he and the other Liberal Party senators stay in the majority whilst plotting to oust the president? That's just absurd.

Some of you praise the "paninindigan" of this senator who was "namamangka sa dalawang ilog." Yes, up until the shake up yesterday, he was enjoying the perks of being in the majority, of being chairman of an important committee, all while acting against the vision and direction of the majority. Double-dealing and backstabbing are not actions associated with paninindigan, that's sly and completely not principled. And now he is the hero because he says he paid the hefty price of going to EDSA? Pakshet.

Chairmanships are plum posts, with per diem and other allowances for research and representation, additional "staffing." Meritocracy is one thing, but you can't expect to be rewarded for stabbing the rest of the majority in the back. It doesn't work that way.
Meritocracy? More like Plasticracy.

Tesla cloud account hacked to mine cryptocurrency

© Provided by The Hill An unidentified outside hacker infiltrated Tesla's Amazon cloud account and used its systems to quietly mine for cryptocurrencies, a cybersecurity firm announced Tuesday. The hack also potentially exposed the electric car company's data. Researchers for RedLock found that Tesla's credentials on an IT administrative console were not password protected. They made the discovery while trying to track down which organizations had left their Amazon Web Services (AWS) credentials openly exposed on the internet last month. The hackers quietly hijacked the console and began running scripts to generate virtual currency like bitcoin, the latest in a series of "cryptojacking" attacks. The researchers also found the hackers used "sophisticated evasion measures" to go undetected. A spokesperson for Tesla said the company learned about the breach in a company-sanctioned bug bounty program that pays outside hackers to discover vulnerabilitie...

You can pay at a restaurant by smiling at a camera

© Provided by Engadget As easy as it is to make purchases in the era of tap-to-pay services , it's about to get easier still. Alipay (which handles purchases for Chinese shopping giant Alibaba) has launched what it says is the first payment system that uses facial recognition to complete the sale. If you visit one of KFC's KPRO restaurants in Hangzhou, China, you can pay for your panini or salad by smiling at a camera-equipped kiosk -- you need to verify the purchase on your phone, but you don't have to punch in digits or bring your phone up to an NFC reader. The system (Smile to Pay) is purportedly resistant to spoofing with photos and other tricks. It relies on both depth-sensing cameras and a "likeness detection algorithm" to make sure it's really you. Reportedly, the technology is good enough that it can accurately identify people even when they're disguising themselves through makeup or wigs. You shouldn't have to worry about someone buying ...
