Netizens Lambasts Edwin Lacierda for Criticizing Pres. Duterte's Promise

Former Presidential spokesperson Atty. Edwin Lacierda caught the attentions of thousands of Pro-Duterte netizens after he criticized President Rody Duterte's alleged failures on his war on drugs. According to Lacierda the President once promise to end the problems of drugs within six months but failed.

Edwin Lacierda posted his statements on his official Twitter account and caught the attentions of  Pres. Rody Duterte's supporters on social media as they lambasts the former spokesperson for his statement against the President.

Before joining the Cabinet of former Pres. Aquino, he was the spokesperson for the presidential campaign of then Sen. Benigno Aquino from November 2009 up to the elections in May 2010. He also served as the lawyer and the co-convener for the Black and White Movement, an organization of civil society groups calling for transparency and accountability during the Arroyo admin.

Some of the most prominent social media personality who criticized the statement of Edwin Lacierda includes Atty. Darwin Cañete, MJ Quiambao Reyes and Mai Laborde to name a few.

Here's the Reactions from Netizens against Lacierda's Statement:

Mae Laborde:

MJ Quiambao Reyes:
Oi, Mr. Lacierda, fyi ha:
6 months into office, PRRD & his team has accomplished the ff:
» 1,250,000 drug surrenderees
» Tens of thousands of drug addicts now under rehab
» Busted several drug laboratories & mega factories
» Neutralized (jailed/prosecuted or killed in police operations) hundreds of known drug personalities
» Significantly brought down crime rates (which by the way has tripled during your reign!)
» Suspended (and now under investigation and/or prosecution) hundreds of police scalawags

Did you really expect the President to be able to clean up in 6 months all the mess that the past admin built up in 6 years?
Yung Presidente mo nga lahat ng pinangako ay napako! FOI, MRT, etc. Pati na pagpapasagasa sa tren, di rin tinupad.

Ma Lourdes Castronuevo:
Un na lng Kasi Alam nila strategy para siraan duterte admin lalo at nakita nila nung freedom rally nationwide and around the world todo suporta pa din sa Mahal na pangulo ang taumbayan, even in surveys trust rate of the president is still soaring high.

Marvin Roy Tudtud:
Di naman kasi inakala ni Presidente na sangkot pala yung mga ka Tropa mo lalo na sa usapin ng DRUGA. Mag LasLas ka na lang LasLacierda

According to Fast Company, the Cupertino giant had a notable 2017 due to the stellar performances of the wireless AirPods and the Apple Watch Series 3 and the launch of its own AR platform, ARKit, as well as the release of the outst...

Tesla cloud account hacked to mine cryptocurrency

© Provided by The Hill An unidentified outside hacker infiltrated Tesla's Amazon cloud account and used its systems to quietly mine for cryptocurrencies, a cybersecurity firm announced Tuesday. The hack also potentially exposed the electric car company's data. Researchers for RedLock found that Tesla's credentials on an IT administrative console were not password protected. They made the discovery while trying to track down which organizations had left their Amazon Web Services (AWS) credentials openly exposed on the internet last month. The hackers quietly hijacked the console and began running scripts to generate virtual currency like bitcoin, the latest in a series of "cryptojacking" attacks. The researchers also found the hackers used "sophisticated evasion measures" to go undetected. A spokesperson for Tesla said the company learned about the breach in a company-sanctioned bug bounty program that pays outside hackers to discover vulnerabilitie...

You can pay at a restaurant by smiling at a camera

© Provided by Engadget As easy as it is to make purchases in the era of tap-to-pay services , it's about to get easier still. Alipay (which handles purchases for Chinese shopping giant Alibaba) has launched what it says is the first payment system that uses facial recognition to complete the sale. If you visit one of KFC's KPRO restaurants in Hangzhou, China, you can pay for your panini or salad by smiling at a camera-equipped kiosk -- you need to verify the purchase on your phone, but you don't have to punch in digits or bring your phone up to an NFC reader. The system (Smile to Pay) is purportedly resistant to spoofing with photos and other tricks. It relies on both depth-sensing cameras and a "likeness detection algorithm" to make sure it's really you. Reportedly, the technology is good enough that it can accurately identify people even when they're disguising themselves through makeup or wigs. You shouldn't have to worry about someone buying ...
