Netizens Lambasts VP Leni on Her Suggestions to Decriminalize Drug Use in the Philippines

The controversial Vice President of the Philippines, Vice Pres. Leni Robredo made headlines anew in a negative way as netizens lambasts the second highest official in the country for suggesting that the Philippines could follow the footsteps of Portugal in decriminalizing the use of illegal drugs in the country and sending the victims to experts for therapy

Vice Pres. Leni Robredo gave her suggestions to the Duterte administration during a speech at the University of Los Baños in the Province of Laguna after one of the students challenged her on how she is going to end the drug problems in the country.

According to VP Leni's suggestion, the government should follow Portugal's "triumphant war on drugs." VP Leni revealed that Portugal decriminalize drug use in 2001, she also believes that it can solve the war that Duterte is waging against drugs.

VP Leni said that instead of killing or sending drug addicts to jail for life, why not send them to experts for therapy.

Netizens took to social media as they lambasted the Vice President's suggestions of ending the drug problems in the country because they believed that for the past six years during the Aquino administration and even under her husband's stint as DILG Secretary the drug problems proliferated in the Philippines and even the national penitentiary was used as a drug haven.

One netizen commented that the success in Portugal is hard to replicate in the Philippines because politicians are behind the massive drug distribution, our country was abused by the yellow government for years, our justice system is controlled by individuals who are unjust and have links to drug trades.

Here's Some of the Negative Reactions from Concerned Netizens:

Luis Yujoco Filoteo: Kung yan ang plano ni leni to legalize the illegal drugs why not legalize also corruptions...

Oscar Picazo: VP Leni, isipisip muna naman po bago kayo magsasalita about decriminalization. Context and perspective are very important. Shabu is very different from heroin, and Portugal is also very different from the Philippines. Problema po sa inyo, you do not analyze things.

Tesla cloud account hacked to mine cryptocurrency

© Provided by The Hill An unidentified outside hacker infiltrated Tesla's Amazon cloud account and used its systems to quietly mine for cryptocurrencies, a cybersecurity firm announced Tuesday. The hack also potentially exposed the electric car company's data. Researchers for RedLock found that Tesla's credentials on an IT administrative console were not password protected. They made the discovery while trying to track down which organizations had left their Amazon Web Services (AWS) credentials openly exposed on the internet last month. The hackers quietly hijacked the console and began running scripts to generate virtual currency like bitcoin, the latest in a series of "cryptojacking" attacks. The researchers also found the hackers used "sophisticated evasion measures" to go undetected. A spokesperson for Tesla said the company learned about the breach in a company-sanctioned bug bounty program that pays outside hackers to discover vulnerabilitie...
