Police on Sunday arrested the suspect behind the killing of 16-year-old Kevin Reantaso, GMA News' Cesar Apolinario reported on 24 Oras on Monday.

Eric Dalmacio was arrested in Tandang Sora, Quezon City, by patrolling policemen. He was positively identified by a witness as the one who repeatedly shot Kevin in Barangay Bahay Toro last Wednesday night.

Police said Kevin was killed in a cellphone robbery perpetrated by Dalmacio and a companion on board a motorcycle.

Superintendent Guillermo Eleazar, chief of Quezon City Police District (QCPD), said they are still looking for Dalmacio's companion.

"'Yung isang kasama, kasi riding-in-tandem criminals 'yan, 'di pa natin nahuhuli. Pero napalalaking bagay na naaresto natin siya (Dalmacio), and he was positively identified by witness na siya talaga ang bumaril kay Kevin," Eleazar said.

Recovered from the arrested suspect was a loaded cal. 38 gun.

The witness reportedly identified Dalmacio through the tattoos on both of his arms.

Dalmacio, who denied killing Kevin, was allegedly involved in several other robberies in the area. He is facing charges of illegal possession of firearms and ammunition and two counts of robbery, and murder. —KBK, GMA News

The controversial Porsche car of the former President made headlines just months into his presidency but he explained that he bought the luxury car with the proceeds he got when he sold his BMW. Because of the furor from such display of opulence, Pres. Aquino claimed to have sold it six months later for exactly the same price. According to Tiglao during that time he asked through his column the LTO to release the car's deed of sale and registration to prove that it was not a gift from a Chinese-Filipino tycoon as rumored by some individuals critical to the President. The only possible way to discover whether the Porsche luxury was indeed sold was through ...
