MRT unloads passengers at Ayala Station due to technical problem

Operations of the Metro Rail Transit Line 3 were disrupted Tuesday morning after one of the trains encountered a technical problem.

According to a social media post of the Department of Transportation (DOTr), passengers were unloaded at Ayala Avenue north bound at 8:28 a.m.

The incident was a Category 3, meaning the train was removed without replacement, and there was cancellation of loops and insertion.

The DOTr apologized for the inconvenience it caused to passengers.
